Getting started
How do I start using Yez3?
Install the app or open app.yez3.com. Answer a short quiz about your goal and what usually gets in the way — your coach uses it to build your first plan. Then set today's Minimum: one small step you'll do no matter what.
Do I need an account?
Not in the mobile app: tap "Start as a guest" and add your email later in Settings to keep your progress and use other devices. The web app needs an account.
What is the Main goal?
The one big goal you're working toward, shown at the top of the Today screen. Your coach uses it to tell tasks that move you forward from tasks that are just noise.
What do I do first every day?
Open Today and make sure your Minimum has at least one critical task. Close it first. Everything else is a bonus.
The three daily plans
What are Minimum, 100% and Maximum?
Three levels of the same day. Minimum is what you'll do no matter what — tired, sick or busy. 100% is a realistic normal day. Maximum is for days when you're on a roll. Only Minimum is required.
How often should I close each plan?
Minimum — every day. 100% — about 3–4 days a week. Maximum — about 1–2 times a week. If you close only your Minimum, the day still counts.
What are critical and routine tasks?
Inside each plan, tasks are split into critical (the ~20% that actually move you toward your goal) and routine (the ~80% that need doing but don't, like groceries or email). Close critical tasks first.
Can the same task be in all three plans?
Yes, and that's intended. For a new habit, put a small dose in Minimum, a normal dose in 100% and the hardest dose in Maximum — for example, run 5, 20 and 60 minutes.
What are Unsorted and Not today?
Unsorted holds tasks without a plan yet — drag them into Minimum, 100% or Maximum. Not today holds tasks for another date or "someday". You can send a task to Today with one tap.
What happens to tasks I didn't finish?
Open tasks from past days stay on Today until you do them or move them. Done tasks stay crossed out until the end of the day, then go to History.
Your AI coach
What can the coach do?
Talk through a task you keep putting off, break big things into small steps, sort tasks into your three plans, and add, move, close or delete tasks right in the chat. In the evening it helps you review the day and plan tomorrow.
Why did my coach message me first?
The coach writes first in three cases: a key task is still open near the end of your day, unsorted tasks are piling up, or a task has been stuck for more than 5 days.
How do I change when the coach can message me?
In Settings, set the hours when the coach may write first (09:00–23:00 by default) and your days off.
Can I make the coach softer or stricter?
Yes. Choose a firm tone (asks for specifics, holds you to your word) or a gentle tone (support without pressure). Switch any time in Settings.
What does the coach remember, and can I change it?
Long-term goals, recurring blockers, values, motivators and how you like to talk. Open Coach memory to see every note — you can edit or delete any of them.
Is the coach a therapist or a doctor?
No. The coach is an AI and can make mistakes. It is not therapy, medical or financial advice. If you're in crisis in the US, call or text 988.
Streaks and freezes
How do I win a day?
Your Minimum has critical tasks, and all of them are done. Win the day and your streak grows.
Do days off break my streak?
No. Mark your days off in Settings — they're neutral. A day with no critical tasks in Minimum is neutral too.
What is a streak freeze?
A shield for your streak. If you miss a day, a freeze is used automatically and your streak survives. You earn one for every seven counted days with at least five wins. You can hold up to 7.
Why didn't my freeze save my streak?
Freezes work all-or-nothing: if you missed more days than you have freezes, none are spent, your stock stays, and the streak starts over.
What do the colors in the week bar mean?
Orange — a win. Green — a day off. Blue — a freeze was used. Grey — a miss, or a day that hasn't come yet.
Reminders, brain dump and focus timer
How do I set a reminder?
Create your own reminders for chosen times and days of the week, or tap "Remind me" on a single task.
How do recurring tasks work?
Choose daily, certain weekdays or monthly. Pick the plan, importance and, if you like, a time — the task appears in the right group on the right day. Without a plan, it lands in Unsorted.
What is a brain dump?
Type or say everything on your mind. Yez3 turns it into tasks and puts them in a list with no date and no plan yet. Then tap "Sort tasks with coach" to choose what goes into today.
How does the focus timer work?
Full-screen focus sessions: 25 minutes of work, 5 minutes of rest, a 15-minute break after every four. Start breaks yourself, pick a task if you want, and add background sounds like rain or a café.
Account and data
How do I save my guest progress?
Add your email in Settings. Your tasks, streak and coach memory move to the account, and you can sign in on other devices. A guest account lives on one device: if you uninstall the app without adding an email, you may lose access to its data.
How do I download my data?
Sign in at app.yez3.com and open Settings → Download my data. You get a JSON file with your tasks, coach history, summaries and settings.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Danger zone → Delete account, then confirm twice. It works in the mobile app and on the web, for guest accounts too.
Does Yez3 sell my data?
No. We don't sell your data, don't show ads and don't track you across other apps or sites. To generate the coach's replies, your messages are sent to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
Billing and subscriptions
How much does Yez3 cost?
Yez3 is a subscription with a free trial for new subscribers. The price depends on your country and is shown in the App Store or Google Play before you pay.
How does the free trial work?
Start a subscription in the App Store or Google Play and the first days are free. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. After the trial, the subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions bought in the app are managed by the store. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Yez3. On Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Yez3. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or in your Google Play order history.
Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?
No. Cancel the subscription in the App Store or Google Play first, then delete your account.
Something's not working
My tasks don't sync between devices.
Check that you're signed in with the same email everywhere and connected to the internet. Changes made offline in the mobile app sync automatically once you're back online.
I don't get notifications.
Allow notifications for Yez3 in your phone's settings, check your coach hours and days off in Yez3 Settings, and turn off battery saving for Yez3 on Android.
The coach or voice input doesn't respond.
The coach, voice and brain dump need an internet connection. Check your connection and try again. If it keeps happening, send us feedback from the app.
I found a bug or have an idea.
Open Settings → Feedback in the app. We read every message, reply when an answer is needed and fix problems as quickly as we can.
Still need help?
Write to us from the app (Settings → Feedback) or by email. We read every message.
